NATASHA JAMES

...an American troubadour in the purest sense, she emotes from her soul with authenticity and grit, stories that are as compelling as those from Woody Guthrie, Lucinda Williams and Gram Parsons, to whom she is often compared.

Natasha has appeared on ABC and NBC in California, Texas, New Mexico and Nevada, and toured internationally for years before settling here in Baja and in her beloved mountains in Lake Tahoe.

She has played and shared the stage with members of Big Brother and the Holding Company, Country Joe & The Fish, The Youngbloods, Electric Flag, The Blues Project, Gregg Allman and Friends, Chambers Brothers...among many others. .

ROOTS-ROCK-AMERICANA-OUTLAW-COUNTRY

Check out Natasha's signature blend of country, blues and rock. You'll experience toe tappin ragtime blues, Caribbean rhythms, American Indian drumbeats, gospel, swing, Southern rock and Country rock with a message.

Each CD is compelling, you will find yourself wishing that it would never end.

"Natasha James can certainly kick up the dust with a jukebox-worthy saloon song about drinking or life on the edge. She can also paint a poignant lyrical portrait of life in America, complete with all its blemishes. However, she is at her finest when she is doing a little bit of both while adding a touch of the blues."  - AMERICAN SONGWRITERS MAGAZINE
